Keyword research is really the foundation for building quality content that will rank well on the SERPs. I always like to pick “primary” and “secondary” keywords to write articles and blog posts on, this helps me stay focused on my niche and get long-tail keyword traffic as well.
After you create your sitemap.xml file using any online sitemap generator tool like the one I mentioned above (xml-sitemaps.com.) You should then download the sitemap.xml file to your hard disk and then upload it to the root directory of your site using your favorite FTP client such as Filezilla (Get FileZilla for free) In order to connect to your website and upload that sitemap.xml file you need to have FTP access to your website.
After you upload your sitemap.xml file then you should be able to view it in any browser through this URL: http://www.your-domain/sitemap.xml
Then the next step is to login to Google Webmaster Tools and add your website (if it has not been added before) by clicking on “Add a site” button. Then you should verify your site using one of the verification methods, the simplest way is to upload a verification HTML file (that Google gives you) into the root directory of your site (again if your site has been added and verified before you don’t need to go through the adding and verification process again.)
Then after your site is added and verified you should be able to submit your sitemap.xml file by clicking on “sitemaps” under the “site configurations” menu on the left sidebar on your site’s dashboard page when you are logged in to your Google webmaster tools. At submit a sitemap page you should click on “Submit a sitemap” and type in your sitemap name (sitemap.xml) in the input field that opens up below the “Submit a sitemap” button.
Thank you for the great information, but for the sake of my i can not make a sitemap right I need to get help in during this. i do not know what to do when I download the sitemap, after that there is this long code and i think that you place that part up in the html space between the the (Head and Body). I get that part but when i go to place one of the link to go to my account to make the sitemap at google, which link do I place in the bar to make the sitemap

@Emmanuel Ferdinand Mafuru That’s a great question. You should fill out two forms. One for the English; one for the other language.
One more question, let say the website is in two different languages, do i need to fill the different forms and give all the keywords in that different language from English? Thank you.
